Upgrades 16. Front Mesh Swap

So this upgrade comes for free. It's not an "essential" upgrade on my car as the front mesh is black and the rear 7 is white but on some cars the coloured 7 really hides away under the mesh. Personally I want the painted 7 to stick out more so I've swapped the parts around. It's an easy job an can easily be reversed. The other benefit is that my white 7 was turning brown, and I couldn't scrub it, so swapping them over meant I keep keep it squeaky clean.

All you have to do is remove the 2 retaining clips (which have little barbs on them). I found it easier to use a small flat headed screwdriver to do this, but making sure I supported the fibre glass as I didn't want to crack it under pressure. Once the clips were out, both pieces come out easily, and then were easily swapped. I found I had to remove the mesh a few times and "slightly" bend the frame to get it to hold it's shape better as it was slightly warped.

Once I was happy I pushed the clips back in using my thumb only.
